This week we have had a stomach bug... well all of us except Bethany however she managed to escape is beyond me. The bug has thrown us out of sorts but we are all much better now.The only good thing about being not well is as you can see from the photo we watched Little House on the Prairie and played with lego!

Last Monday was the Girls Brigade Nativity play and it went very well.Bethany was Ceasar Augustus and Lydia was Mary.
We also have had our nativity play in Gorgie yesterday.
It was great fun. Jonathan is dressed up as Frankincense, just in case you couldn't work it out!

Now all the meals have ended and parties at Gorgie are over, we are concentrating on Christmas for ourselves. Tonight we are off to a party at Caroles house so that should be fun... after the dentist. (yuck)!
Jonathan's toe is still not mended yet and he is now on to his fifth antibiotic so hopefully he will get a chance to rest it over these days and see a big improvement.
I trust you have a great Christmas day with your families. Enjoy it! Remember the real reason for this season.

Yesterday at the nativity we were speaking about a Christmas cracker... inside comes a joke, normally twee but fun, it really is fun to live for Christ. There is also a free gift inside a cracker... not exactly something you can't live without but nonetheless it is a gift, of course Jesus is our free gift from Heaven to a manger, to a cross. There is also a hat... a crown shape reminding us that the King of Kings wants to be part of our lives. No matter who you are, He is interested in you! Make time for Him this Christmas. That is what I will be trying to do... join me?
Speak to you soon! With love Elizabeth. xx
