A good Week!

This week has been full and varied!!! On Sunday evening we met up with a friend who is working with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Northern Ireland. Another home Missionary! It was great to hear of the work amongst boys and girls that she does. She also does ladies' meetings. They have the title, "Inward, Outward Beauty".
The Coffee morning on Tuesday was the first in November obviously and the epilogue was on making Christmas His Story! I know I am early but we are being bombarded already with advertisements on toys and gifts.
Even some baking was done... even if it does look a bit yucky!

On Thursday evening, Marian and Lindsay came over to do the study on A mum after God's own heart. I am learning a lot from this study like commentators think that Daniel, Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego were probably between 14-17 years of age! I have a mental picture of them being about 30's or 40's. The study made us think of the parentage of these young boys and it asked us to think what we would like for our children to do in that position.

Last night we were out with Gorgie Mission for a meal. It was a beautiful dinner and we enjoyed it very much. The girls have been staying the night with their Auntie Nora and this morning have gone of to Dobbies garden centre to see the Christmas displays. Now it is time for me to get ready for Sunday school. I don't have to do a children's talk as tomorrow a man from mission aviation fellowship is coming to speak at both meetings and has some pictures to show the wee ones about his work. I'll let you know how it all goes!!! Okay I am off. Keep praying for your Missionaries both in this land and abroad and may you have a great week!
